I love the Columbia Restaurant! It's perfect for special occasions even though the meals are affordable!
Best restaurant in Ybor for just all around dining. Love Cuban food and they serve it up! If visiting it's a must and if live here put it on the short list or you're missing out. The patio upstairs is my first stop. Enjoy
The Columbia is part of the pride of Tampa Bay's restaurant scene. Serving delicious Spanish cuisine since 1905 - The Columbia has gone on to create success all over the bay and is a local tradition. The Ybor City location has plenty of parking, both in front and behind the restaurant, which is nice because the biggest downside to Ybor City sometimes tends to be paying for parking. The sangria at The Columbia is almost always delicious. The 1905 salad is like no other. Imitators have attempted and failed to make a similar product. The Cuban bread here is amazing - I can eat it all day long. I sometimes fill myself up completely on their delicious bread and fresh butter. The Cuban sandwiches are known as some of the best in the bay. The flamenco show has always been a hot selling point, but in my opinion has slowly declined somewhat as it strays away from traditional Spanish flamenco dancing. There just is not many places in Tampa with the history The Columbia has and that will always keep me intrigued and supportive of this family business.
Pros: Delicious Cuban bread, awesome sangria, excellent service, good parking
Cons: Flamenco Show has strayed from traditional Spanish roots
This is a well known restaurant and attracts a lot of tourists since it is one of the oldest Cuban restaurants in the United States. The atmosphere is great and is great for a date or family. Make sure to check out the flemanco dances in the evening. There are long waits on 1905 day when the prices are rolled back to 1905.
Pros: The atmosphere is great along with the architectural design of the historic building and the history that goes with it. Plenty of parking which is great in Ybor City.
Cons: The food is par and definitely not the reason to go to the Columbia.
The food is excellent (as expected for the Columbia!), the service is stellar, and the experience is one for everyone.
The Columbia Restaurant is a tradition for Tampa Bay residents and visitors. Always serving delicious and authentic Cuban food. We have five locations around Tampa Bay, including two smaller cafe locations and one at the airport. This family-owned restaurant was founded in 1905 and is Florida’s oldest restaurant. It's a must-see for newcomers to town.
The sangria is so amazing! The Spanish Bean soup is delicious to start with!
The Columbia Restaurant is a historic Spanish restaurant with several locations around the Tampa Bay area. Food is always on point and their Cuban bread is the best I've ever tasted. Their paella is a personal favorite and they also serve a delicious sangria.
The Columbia is such an amazing restaurant with huge servings that are all delicious!
Pros: Amazing Food Beautiful Atmosphere
Great restaurant in a beautiful location! Their 1905 salad IS AMAZING!!! And same with the manchego cheese chicken!
Amazing food and beautiful location. The 1905 salad is the best salad, and completely unique. You have to go to a Columbia for it, so you should go to Columbia.
I love Ulele. It's the place I always take my parents to when they're in town and they love the atmosphere and authentic Florida cuisine! The hush puppies are a must try on their menu.
Pros: Great food, Delicious Drinks!
Cons: Free Parking is a bit of a walk but it's definitely worth it!
I've been to Ulele for a couple of times, it's perfect for friends gathering and family reunion. Food is delicious and they also provide great service, highly recommend for everyone.
Very solid meal at Ulele. Started with the native chili and gave the flank steak a shot. The chili was tasty and the flank steak was perfectly cooked. Star of the table was the crispy fried duck, which I am trying next time.
I have been to Ulele a few times now and have enjoyed it everytime. Delicious food, great space and friendly people. They even have the Pirate Water Taxi that will drop you off right there.
Pros: Food, serice and ambience are all wonderful.
Cons: I don't know if they do events or entertainment bit if they do I wish I would hear about it more.
The food alone is enough to keep me coming back but the atmosphere and environment give you the experience to deem Ulele one of the best restaurants in Tampa. I've went with my family and I've went with my friends and on all occasions I have a great time. The waitress actually gave us a mini tour of the brewery in the backside of the restaurant.
The Triple threat! Great food, Great Service, and great place to eat! The Char-broiled oysters are the best!
Fun, hip new restaurant on Tampa's Riverwalk. The food is good but the charbroiled oysters are the best I've ever had. There is ALWAYS a wait but you can eat at the bar too. Eceletic ambiance!
The food, vibe and atmosphere is fantastic!
Pros: Love the fresh seafood dishes, great wine list and super cocktails.
Cons: The real miss here is the lack of music or entertainment on the courtyard. Such a great space for it on the lawn with a great water view. Really wish they hired cool local bands -not jazz bands, but 90s+, or even do a silent disco night!
